May 28, 2014
I remembered that I took the MegaBus a day before I catch my Hawaiian bound flight for 6 days/5 nights. My schedule was inconvenient due to safety reasons that I can’t leave my home early, and I am afraid to walk alone in the dark at 4 in the morning (I was not in the downtown). I went to NYC for one night and left the Hostel at 6:30 to catch the Newark Airport Express because my dad can’t take these 2 days off at the Janney Montgomery Scott as Dividend Associate to drive me to the airport.
One warm morning in New York City, I left Newark at approximately quarter after 9 on an eleven-hour flight and safely arrive at Honolulu. It was the most exciting after I successfully passed all classes at Community College of Philadelphia. It was not easy (four tedious classes) but reward myself. The first day was the arrival at Honolulu with my intended itinerary I create during the tireless spring semester.
With my pink carry on and a red backpack, I have everything I need for my 5-day solo trip (Sample Trip). Your Honolulu trip may vary depending on your interests, budget, schedule, and time.
Info to know: For US Citizens, you probably don’t need your passport to visit a Hawaiian State because Hawaii is part of 50 states in the United States. You will need your government-issued IDs to travel domestically.

My Travel Information
- I love the airport because I am a travel girl who loves to fly on planes, especially when I dream of traveling the world.
- I wrote more on this blog about my sample trip for solo travel to Honolulu and to save money since traveling requires lots of money to spare.
I know that Hawaii is a fun and safest place to travel solo, especially young women. I felt like this city of Honolulu is a better place for me to visit and to take a short vacation break. If you want to travel there, know when it is a good time because it will get too hot and humid in May, so it is better to bring sunscreen, a hat, and a pair of sunglasses. You will far be better protection from sunburn, so remember the rule, apply sunscreen, wear a hat, and sunglasses. Sun safety is critical. Please, bring a bottle of water too.
