An unforeseen event
American Airlines, Boeing 767-300ER took off Miami at approximately 3:30 in the afternoon and seven passengers wasn’t returning to the seat and fasten their seat belts while seated were injured. The plane was diverted to Saint John’s airport (Newfoundland and Labrador province) as an emergency landing because of the severe turbulence, and the passengers were trying to find alternatives to get to Milan as soon as possible. Turbulence is an unforeseen event for some flyers, and this is normal because this won’t hurt them if they are properly restrained to the seats. It doesn’t cause air disasters, and this is how the plane flies. Unfortunately, these injured passengers hit and bounced in the cabin, making them severe enough to bleed from the inside. The gravity and the cabin-pressure environment quickly makes them get thrown from the seats.
“This is not a SEPTA bus ride, a trolley ride, or a train ride,” I said, “where the oxygen is ample, the gravity is greater. Even though the passengers had an eerie bumpy ride when the bus hit the unpaved road or a pothole, they did not get thrown from the seat. The plane ride, on the other hand, has less oxygen and has lighter gravity, making passengers thrown from the seat if they do not buckle their seat belt. Regardless when the seat belt sign is illuminating or not, it is critical for all passengers to fasten their seat belts whenever they are seated to protect themselves. I am a daily commuter student to and from Community College of Philadelphia and had been on plane rides many times before.”
Tips: Make sure the seat belts are tight and snug around the waist and hips.
The blow (physical injury to the tissue) is not only suffering bone fractures but suffer substantial injuries, bleeding from the inside, causing arteries and veins to rupture. If the blood leaks from the arteries and veins, it can morbidly get either temporary or permanent disabilities, depending on specific circumstances. This tragedy is a painful event all savvy passengers must aware. The cost of medical treatments are very high, and some need surgery to recover, others are in critical conditions. They are jeopardizing their health and the life.
Recommending to the safety standards, all passengers must wear seat belts whenever the seat belt sign is illuminating. Even though the seat belt sign is or isn’t illuminated, it is imperative that all passengers fasten their seat belt when seated because turbulence occurs without warning. If passengers want to get out of the seat, wait until the seat belt sign turns off and then walk with very cautious. Please, hold on and be careful while walking into the cabin.
Hope to have safe travels, God prays to injured passengers, and the stranded passengers got stuck in Canada. Let’s pray to all of the passengers, hoping to find alternative flights to get to Milan.
